Oaka Barefoot Dress Shoes: Day 20

Oaka Barefoot Dress Shoes: Day 20

Why You Should Consider Oaka Barefoot Dress Shoes for Your Corporate Life

If you work a corporate job and want to prioritize your health without sacrificing style, barefoot dress shoes might be exactly what you need. I’ve been wearing the Oaka Primal Barefoot Dress Shoes for the last three weeks, and I’m here to share my experience with you.

My Experience Wearing Oaka Barefoot Dress Shoes

Since I work from home, I wear these shoes all day in the house, giving me plenty of time to evaluate their comfort and functionality. One of the standout features is the no-tie laces, which make slipping these on effortless. No more dealing with laces coming undone throughout the day!

I typically wear a size 11, but these shoes run large, so I had to size down to a 10. Despite my initial concerns about the heel feeling stiff against my Achilles, this issue disappeared within a day, and they now feel incredibly comfortable. They are flexible, stylish, and functional, making them a fantastic option for anyone looking to wear barefoot shoes to the office.

Why Barefoot Shoes Are Healthier Than Traditional Shoes

Traditional dress shoes are designed for fashion, not foot health. Most have a higher heel than toe, cramp your feet, and provide excessive cushioning that weakens your foot muscles over time. Here’s why barefoot shoes, like the Oaka Primal Dress Shoes, are a healthier alternative:

Zero-Drop Soles – These keep your foot in a natural position, improving posture and reducing joint strain.
Wide Toe Box – Allows your toes to spread naturally, enhancing balance and comfort.
Flexible Soles – Strengthen foot muscles by allowing them to move naturally.
Lightweight Design – Prevents foot fatigue and makes all-day wear more enjoyable.

The Perfect Office Shoe?

What sets the Oaka Primal Barefoot Dress Shoes apart is that they look just like traditional dress shoes, making them perfect for corporate settings. They provide all the benefits of barefoot shoes without sacrificing style, so you can wear them to work without anyone noticing you’ve ditched traditional footwear.

If you’re ready to upgrade your office shoes and experience better foot health, I highly recommend giving these a try.

Since wearing barefoot shoes, my feet have grown both in length and absolutely in width. I cannot wear regular shoes at all anymore. This is something to consider. I would never go back. My feet feel so much better and I know this is healthier for me. You can see I pulled the sole out of the shoe to show my foot, as it naturally spreads on the ground that the sole and shoe are built with a wide to box to support natural foot splay.

Here is the sole with my foot imprinted onto it.. you can see it is perfect in its width without being too wide. .some barefoot shoes are too wide and make it look like you have clown shoes on.

Here is the shoe without the sole in it

The bottoms are neat and a conversational piece as you prop your feet up onto your desk at the end of the day

This is my foot on the inner sole of the shoe. You can see my feet do not spread past the sole, but come to the very edges. If they overlapped too much, it could be uncomfortable to wear these
